Question Editor improvements (CR-23048)
Action Buttons: Always Visible
We've moved the action buttons (Save, Save & Close, Cancel) to the top of the interface as a sticky header. This means no more scrolling to the bottom of the page to perform essential actions—everything is within easy reach at all times.
Default Component View
Previously, the default component was the Information Tab. Now, the Tags Component is the default across all item types, streamlining item categorization.
Question Editor Upgrades
We’re rolling out improvements to selected item types first, with plans to expand them across more item types in future updates.
- Multiple Choice Question
- Multiple Response
- Either/Or
- Essay
New Preview Option
A new preview button allows users to seamlessly switch between edit and preview modes within the same module. This makes it quicker to view an item from the candidate’s perspective, enabling efficient refinements and edits.
Updated UI for Alternatives
To optimize screen space, the CK Editor for alternatives now only appears when highlighting the input box. This cleaner interface provides more working area without unnecessary clutter.
Option Tab Removal
The Options Tab for the listed items has been removed, and its configurations have been relocated to the Question Tab for easier access. These configurations include:
- Add labels
- Randomize order
- Fixed position
- Timed question option
- Feedback settings
- Audio settings
- Polytomous/Dichotomous (multiple response items)
- Allowed selection (Multiple response items)
CK Editor Update
- The CK Editor has been updated across the platform, including candidate delivery. We encourage you to include it in your testing, ensuring it functions as expected in both item types and the candidate delivery input fields
