Cirrus supports all supported modern "Evergreen Browsers": Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari, as well as Safe Exam Browser. This applies to any vendor-supported operating system with a screen large enough to display Cirrus without scrolling. Evergreen Browser vendors support only the latest version of their browser.
Software requirements
Under the GDPR, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all its users access the Cirrus Platform using supported software with security updates applied.

Security and integrity requirements
Cirrus has many security features built in, such as PIN codes to start an assessment, randomised answer options, and Blueprint-based question selection.
For additional security and integrity, Cirrus offers an Online Proctoring add-on and integrates with Proctoring partners providing live and automated proctoring. A low-cost option for controlled environments is the open-source Safe Exam Browser.
