This allows organisations to connect external reporting and business intelligence tools to Cirrus data for advanced analytics and custom reporting.
Supported Reporting Tools
The Data component provides access to a PostgreSQL-compatible analytical dataset.
This allows organisations to connect supported business intelligence and reporting tools such as:
- Microsoft Power BI
- Microsoft Excel
- Other PostgreSQL-compatible reporting solutions
Compatibility and available functionality may vary depending on the selected reporting tool and environment configuration.
What You Can Do
Using the Data component, organisations can connect external reporting tools to Cirrus data to create their own:
- Dashboards
- Reports
- Data visualisations
- Usage analytics
- Organisation-specific reporting
Depending on the selected reporting solution, organisations may also combine Cirrus data with data from other internal systems.
Access & Configuration
Access to the Data component is managed through the Admin area in Cirrus.
Depending on the subscription tier, access to the Data component may first need to be enabled through the Cirrus Service Desk.
Administrators can configure and manage:
- Database credentials
- Connection string
- Allowed IPv4 CIDR block input field
Administrators can also view: - Schema name
Access is read-only and intended solely for reporting and analytics.
Data Availability
Data is refreshed periodically through automated processing.
The platform is optimised for analytical reporting rather than real-time operational monitoring. Refresh intervals may vary depending on the enabled functionality and environment configuration.
