This is an accessibility statement from Cirrus Nederland B.V.

Measures to support accessibility

Cirrus Nederland B.V. takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of Cirrus Assessment:

  • Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.
  • Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.
  • Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.

It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Cirrus Assessment is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Technical specifications

  • HTML
  • WAI-ARIA
  • CSS
  • JavaScript

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

Limitations and alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of Cirrus Assessment, including testing with the most commonly used screen reader in our standard QA processes, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for Cirrus Assessment
  • Content from users: WCAG features are available for authors but not enforced, as content is owned by and the responsibility of our customers.
  • False alerts: False alerts from Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools may occur — for example, a spacer image without semantic value that lacks alt text. As these do not impact the user experience (unlike real accessibility bugs), they are addressed at low priority. Review and test each alert to confirm it is not a false positive before reporting it.

Assessment approach

Cirrus Nederland B.V. assessed the accessibility of Cirrus Assessment using the following approaches:

  • Self-evaluation
  • External evaluation
  • External evaluation through regular testing using externally developed Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools
  • Self-evaluation through code reviews of all front-end code changes
