# Progress report

***Use the Progress Report to view a visual summary of your marking workload.***

After opening the Assess tab and clicking on an exam to assess, two tabs are displayed:

1. Submissions - [discussed here](/v1/docs/submissions)
2. Progress report

The Submissions tab shows a progress bar per candidate but does not provide a clear workload overview.

The Progress Report tab shows:

- Auto-scored questions - blue
- Questions to be marked - red
- Completed items - green
- Items already scored by a co-assessor - dark grey
- Removed questions - light grey

### View by and filters

Use the filters and **View by** options to:

- View workload by candidate
- View workload by item
- Filter by attempt
- Filter by **Assigned to** (where available) to view a colleague's workload
