The Order item type asks candidates to put a list of options into the correct sequence. Use this article to create an Order item.

Create an Order item
In a collection, select + Add and choose Order.
- Enter the title for internal use.
- Enter the question in the rich text editor.
- Enter the answer alternatives in the correct order. Three appear by default. Use Add alternative to add more or Remove to delete one.
- Set the maximum score.
- Save and close.

Cirrus shuffles the alternatives for the candidate but uses the order you enter as the answer key.
Scoring type
Order uses dichotomous scoring by default. Switch to polytomous in Options to award partial credit when only part of the sequence is correct. See Polytomous and dichotomous scoring.
