Enter the **title** for internal use. 2. Enter the **question** in the rich text editor. Tables are useful for accounting and finance questions; use the editor's table tool. 3. Enter the **correct answer**, either as a specific value or as a range. 4. Set the **maximum score**. 5. **Save and close**. ## Answer formats - **Specific value**: the candidate must enter exactly this value. - **Range**: any value between the minimum and maximum, inclusive, is correct. - **Exponential**: enter in the form `1.24E-16` (`X.XeX`). Cirrus highlights the answer field with a warning if the format is wrong. ## Decimal marker Set the **decimal marker** to a dot or a comma. Cirrus ignores other delimiters in the candidate's answer. ## Workout box Tick **Include a working out box for candidate** to give the candidate space for working notes. These notes are not stored or shared with the marker. To store the working notes for the marker to see, enable the working-out box from **Options** instead. ## Related articles - [How to add and use items](/docs/how-to-add-use-items) - [Mathematical question](/docs/mathematical-question-2) for formula-based answers (SOWISO add-on). - [Financial statement](/docs/financial-statement) for accounting questions with multiple values.
