# NEO Candidate Delivery

## What is NEO candidate Delivery?

NEO Candidate Delivery is the next-generation candidate experience within the Cirrus assessment platform. It introduces a modern, flexible, and accessible interface across both the candidate dashboard and the exam delivery environment.

This update improves usability, accessibility, and the overall candidate experience, allowing candidates to focus on their assessments with minimal friction.

NEO applies to:

- Candidate dashboard
- Assessment delivery (exam-taking experience)
- Score report

## Enabling NEO candidate Delivery

NEO Candidate Delivery is available but not enabled by default.

To activate NEO for your organisation:

- Contact your Cirrus Customer Success Manager, **or**
- Submit a request via the [customer portal](https://eassessment.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals)

Once enabled, NEO can be switched on for newly created assessments.

## Selecting NEO for assessments

When creating an assessment, select the delivery version under **Delivery version**:

- **V1 (Classic):** The existing candidate delivery interface.
- **V2 (NEO):** The new candidate delivery experience.

This allows you to transition gradually and control which assessments use the new interface.

## Important considerations

- Once NEO is enabled for your organisation, **all candidates will see the new NEO dashboard upon login**, regardless of the delivery version used for individual assessments.
- You can adopt NEO delivery for assessments at your own pace; there is no enforced deadline.
- It is recommended to review and update:
  - Candidate-facing guidance
  - Support materials
  - Training content

## What is improved in NEO

NEO introduces several enhancements to the candidate experience:

- **Responsive design** across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- **Improved accessibility** for a wider range of candidates
- **Cleaner section layout** for better navigation
- **Full exam progress visibility** at a glance
- **Dark mode**
- **Time alerts** notifying candidates before the exam closes
- **Updated score reports** for clearer results presentation
