When to use Either/Or instead of Multiple choice

Either/Or behaves like a Multiple choice question with two fixed alternatives. The difference is that you cannot add, remove, or mark more than one alternative correct. Use Either/Or when you want a single-line true/false or yes/no question without configuring three slots.

Create an Either/Or item

In a collection, select + Add and choose Either/Or.

  1. Enter the title for internal use.
  2. Enter the question in the rich text editor.
  3. Enter the two answer alternatives, for example "True" and "False" or "Yes" and "No".
  4. Mark the correct alternative with its radio button.
  5. Set the maximum score.
  6. Save and close.
