Use this guide to add individual users. For bulk imports, use the Excel import functionality.
To add, edit, or remove users, go to Admin > Users.
To manage users, you need the Manage users permission under Roles > Administration > Manage users. A System Admin can also grant this permission at the hierarchy group level.
Add user
- Go to Admin > Users.
- Click Add new user.
- The Add user dialog opens.
- Complete the required fields. See User fields for details.
- Click Save.
After adding the user, open their record to review permissions and hierarchies on the Hierarchy tab.

Update user
- Go to Admin > Users.
- Search for the user.
- Click on the user to open their record.
- The General tab opens with the user's information.
- Edit the required fields and save.
Click the Hierarchy tab to update permissions and hierarchies.
Delete user
- Go to Admin > Users.
- Search for the user.
- Select the user in the overview and click Delete.
- Confirm when prompted.

Deleted users are quarantined for 30 days in the Trash Can.
User fields
Most user fields are self-explanatory. Fields in bold* are mandatory (First Name, Last Name, Username/Password, (Cirrus) Role, and for candidates also the User ID).
